Beyoncé’s Bash with World’s Finest Clubs
DATE 05 / 09 / 2007
Following her first solo album in 2003, the ten-time Grammy Awards winner focused on her acting career up until launching her second album right on her 25th birthday in 2007. And, as with most things Beyoncé Knowles touches, her latest album is a big success.

The first Afro-American woman to win an ASCAP Award for best songwriter, Beyoncé promoted her new album B’Day at the Hallenstadion in Zurich before joining the party at Club Indochine. Although having changed out of her glittery silver dress from the concert to jeans and a t-shirt, the R’n’B queen arrived to her after-show party in style. The event, organised by World’s Finest Clubs and Maurice Mobetie, was packed with fans wanting to catch a real-life glimpse of the breathtaking star.
Mingling with the crowd before retreating to her VIP area, she congratulated Philippe Haussener, CEO of Indochine, on his birthday, the great party and the beautiful oriental interior. Haussener, who returned the compliment by noting: “I’ve rarely experienced such a charged atmosphere,” made sure the superstar wanted for nothing. Beyoncé’s table was not just lined with cognac, XELLENT Swiss Vodka and water, but also her favourite fresh mint tea.
