The FAROL DESIGN HOTEL - A daring architectural project creating the perfect interface between the 19th and the 21st centuries, with contemporary design and comfort. Within the historical centre, located on the ocean front (180º), right next to the marina and "Boca-do-Inferno" the Farol Design Hotel,offers a very special oceanside experience on the Lisbon Coast. The remodelled 19th-century mansion - formerly owned by the Count of Cabral - has been uniquely combined with a new infrastructure built in a contemporary design. The result is a harmonious bridge in time.
The Rosa Maria Restaurant offers fine dining with a Mediterranean cuisine and a sushi lounge - considered the trendiest Restaurant in Cascais. Other facilities include a chill-out bar,terraces and a salt-water swimming pool , were created to take advantage of the great outdoors.
From the guest rooms, surrounded by the Atlantic, one can practically touch the sea. Free from boundaries, fashion designers have expressed their world of wonders in a 3d format, through the “dress-a-room” concept. Ten rooms were designed by famous fashion designers in their personal style,Ana Salazar, Augustus, Fátima Lopes, Joao Rolo, José Antonio Tenente, Manuel Alves/Jose Manuel Gonçalves, Paulina Figueiredo, Miguel Vieira, Paulo Matos and Arkadius (the first international designer at Farol Design Hotel)add glamour to the Farol experience.
