Bungalow 8 was founded by Amy Sacco in 2002 in Chelsea, New York. Named after the famous Bungalow # 8 of Beverly Hills Hotel in Hollywood which has been a home to Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor and Marlene Dietrich among others. In modern days Bungalow 8 Clubs continued the tradition of being the hangout spot for the famous of the music, fashion, movies, business and art world. Later in 2007 followed by the London Members Only edition of the club in elegant St. Martins Lane Hotel.
The youngest sister of the Bungalow 8 chain was born as of late October 2010 in Amsterdam. Resembling the style and tradition of the Bungalow 8 clubs, it has the New York door policy combined with the Member concept of London.
Nestled within the historic centre of Amsterdam with characteristic environment and splendid canals, the club is designed according to the distinctive and unique Bungalow 8 worldwide style also portraying the building's original features with The Dutch twist. |
