The foundations of the Ancoats rave-den have long since built upon years and years of weekly sessions which have seen all of the world’s best DJs grace the hallowed decks across three rooms of unique sensorial delights. The last two years have seen the club step up into overdrive, with ahead of the game bookings heralding and debuting many of the electronic scene’s present stars.
Maintaining such inspiring drive and ground-breaking vision is testament to all involved at Sankeys; it’s why people voted in droves for the award of World’s Best Club. Special things happen on Radium Street, a pure distillation of what dance music and club culture is all about. No dance floor comes close in comparison, especially the intense intimacy of The Basement, and along with Spektrum and The Bar the club offers every-weekend sessions taking in everything from techno and drum and bass to trance and electro-house.
